1. Esta es su prescripción.
(This is your prescription.)
2. Tome una cucharadita dos veces al día por diez días.
(Take one teaspoon two times per day for ten days.)
3. Tome la píldora con el estómago vacío.
(Take the pill on an empty stomach. Literally: "...with the stomach empty.")
4. Agite bien la suspensión antes de tomarla.
(Shake well the suspension before taking it.)
5. Tome la cápsula en ayunas.
(Take the capsule on an empty stomach.)
6. Tome el jarabe para la tos una vez al día.
(Take the cough syrup once a day.)
7. ¿Quiere la medicina en líquido o en tabletas?
(Do you want the medicine in liquid or in tablets?)
8. Aplique el ungüento dos veces al día.
(Apply the ointment two times per day.)
9. Tome los comprimidos con la comida.
(Take the compressed tablets with food.)
10. Ponga cuatro gotas en el oído derecho, dos veces al día, por siete dias.
(Put four drops in the right ear, two times per day, for seven days.)
11. Ponga dos gotas de colirio en cada ojo, cada cuatro horas, por cinco días.
(Put two drops of eye-drops in each eye, every four hours, for five days.)
12. Aplique la pomada en la zona afectada cada 24 horas y cúbralo con una gasa estéril.
(Apply the ointment on the affected area every 24 hours and cover it with a sterile gauze.)
13. Aplique la crema sólo si es necesario, pero evite la cara.
(Apply the cream only if it is necessary, but avoid the face.)
14. Tome una pastilla antes de dormir.
(Take one lozenge before sleeping.)
15. Si siente mareos, náuseas, dolor de cabeza, o si hay enrojecimiento de la piel, suspenda la medicina y llame de inmediato al doctor.
(If you/he/she feels dizziness, nausea, headache, or if there is reddening of the skin, stop the medicine and call the doctor immediately.)
16. Sólo tome la cantidad indicada, y en el horario correcto.
(Only take the indicated quantity, and on the correct schedule.)
17. No tome dos dosis juntas. Si olvida una dosis, notifique al doctor.
(Don't take two doses together. If you forget a dose, notify the doctor.)
18. No combine diferentes medicamentos.
(Don't combine different medications.)
